Some will hate her simply because she was one of the founders of the modern feminist movement.
She alleged felt discomfort when lesbian issues came to the forefront of the feminist movement.

When she published 'The Feminine Mystique' in 1963, she vocalized the feeling of dissatisfaction and hopelessness that millions of women suffered as the result of trying to be the perfect wife and homemaker with no life or opinions outside of her husband's.
Millions of women found a voice and hope in her works.
She co-founded NOW, which fights for women's rights for decades.
Although she was originally opposed to 'Playboy,' she was interviewed by them in the 1995, and stated that she no longer thought that they were objectionable.
Few people of either sex can say that they had such a positive impact on the lives of so many.
