They were one hit wonders.
'One Toke Over the Line' was banned by most AM radio stations for its blatant drug reference.
Shipley said, 'Banning a record because of its lyrics is like the burning of books in the 30s.'

Jerry Garcia played pedal steel guitar on 'One Toke.'
Despite the ban, 'One Toke' became a Top 5 hit.
Shipley formed the non-profit Oral History of the Ozarks Project.
