Musicians
    (1980-1984)
    Formed in Toronto
    Band Members:
    Holly Woods (lead vocalist)
    Brian Allen
    Sheron Alton
    Scott Kreyer
    Niki Costello
    Jimmy Fox
Hits include: 'Even the Score,' 'You Daddy Don't Know,' 'What About Love?,' 'Girls' Night Out,' and 'All I Need'
The lead singer's pseudonym is Holly Woods.
Considering that most of the band members are really American, it is surprising that they did not become as big a hit in the U.S. (Holly is from Durham, North Carolina. Scott, Niki, and Jimmy are all from Rochester, New York.)
Although they originally wrote and sang 'What About Love?,' music fans will remember the Heart version.
Although the band was named for an eastern Canadian city, their popularity emerged in western Canada.
They defined Canadian rock during the early 1980s.
Like Michael Bolton and the late Laura Branigan, Holly has a four-octave voice range.
