Why he might be annoying:

    He turned down various NFL head coaching positions during his heyday with the Steelers.
    He was 60 years old when he accepted his first full time NFL head coaching position with the Cardinals.
    His record as the head coach of the Temple University football program was 21–45.
    He was forced to forfeit the team's victories during the 1986 season after using an ineligible player during the season.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He got his break in coaching after accepting the job as the running backs coach at the University of Alabama under Bear Bryant.
    He served on the coaching staffs of Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh, earning two Super Bowl rings (Super Bowls XL and XLIII).
    He stepped in for Chuck Pagano as the Colts head coach when the latter was forced to take a leave of absence for leukemia treatments.
    He went 9-3 during the twelve games he served as the Colts interim head coach.
    He is the first interim head coach in NFL history to earn the NFL Coach of the Year award, as his nine victories are the highest total by an interim coach.
