Why he might be annoying:

    His business philosophy was geared almost entirely toward stockholders.
    He loved W’s approach to the federal budget.
    He did not have a reputation as a family man.
    Nor was he renowned for a thick skin.
    He engineered a massive accounting fraud at a paper mill company where he was the president in the mid-1970s.
    For a 2005 Fast Company magazine article called ‘Is Your Boss a Psychopath?’ the editor noted that he ‘sucked the very life and soul out of companies and people.’ For starters.
    ‘I’m a superstar in my field, much like Michael Jordan in basketball and Bruce Springsteen in rock n’ roll.’

Why he might not be annoying:

    Before Kenneth Lay…
    Having secured a combined base pay of some $3,2 million, he was a master at pulling the wool over the bosses’ eyes.
    His business model would come to be known as a ‘Dunlapism’ — how to increase the value of the stock.
    He spearheaded the creation of clay tennis courts at the Niagara Falls Country Club.
    Ultimately, he would be legally forbidden to serve as an officer or director for any public company.
