Originally the Nashville Kats (1997-2001), but not considered part of their history
Why they might be annoying
Though they started as the Nashville Kats before moving to Atlanta, a new Kats team was formed and took their pre-2001 history.
Therefore, they're considered a quasi-expansion team that started in 2001.
They didn't make the playoffs two of their first three years in Georgia.
They relocated from downtown Atlanta's Phillips Arena to less visible Gwinnett Center in suburban Duluth for two seasons.
Their original mascot was non-creatively named G-Force.
Why they might not be annoying
They listened to fans and eventually moved back to the Phillips Arena in 2005.
That year, they were undefeated at home and reached the ArenaBowl.
Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank bought the team.
Their fans are known for bringing buckets to games and banging them as loud as possible.
