After finishing the 'Left Behind' books, he pulled a George Lucas and started cranking out prequels.
The 'Left Behind' prequel 'The Rapture' was released on June 6, 2006, to tie in with 6-6-6.
He said the Catholic church 'is more dangerous than no religion because she substitutes religion for truth.'
He suggested that the physical ailments of three 'flaming liberal' Supreme Court justices were a gift from God (1988).
He co-founded the Institute for Creation Research.
He gave $4.5 million to Falwell's Liberty University for a School of Prophecy; Liberty named the school after him and appointed him as president.
He believes in the existence of the Illuminati as a secret society of liberals determined to undermine 'true Christianity.'
