Their original Columbus advertising campaign involved marketing Ohio State University alumni while ignoring the best players.
Why they might not be annoying
They had more success in attendance in Columbus than in Buffalo.
From 1999 to 2005, they had a different leading passer, rusher and receiver each year.
NFL receiver Joey Galloway had an ownership stake in the team.
