Why he might be annoying:

He is thrice divorced.
He's a womanizing, pill popping alcoholic.
Taylor was nearly 20 years older than him.
He was Taylor's 7th husband and 8th marriage.
Michael Jackson gave Taylor away to him.
He signed a pre-nup so when they divorced he had to 'settle' for the $5,000 a month agreed upon.
When Taylor gave him $1 million for the pool he built at the house, he tried to milk her for another million.
After they separated, he went back to boozing, swallowing pharmaceuticals and partying.
He was busted for DUI and possession of dope while driving his luxury motor home (September 1996).
He was charged with assaulting one of his many girlfriends (1998).
He fell down the stairs of his home in a drunken stupor and was rushed to a hospital (January 28, 1999).

Why he might not be annoying:

The marriage lasted 5 years, more than just about everybody guessed.
Taylor has sworn off any more marriages due to him.
He lapsed into a coma during his hospital stay before slowly recovering.
Taylor visited him at the hospital (while he was in a coma).
Taylor let bygones be bygones and paid all his medical expenses.
He has faded from public view into oblivion.
