Was discovered in the mountains of Daxi/Sansia, Taiwan (2006)
Received special veterinary treatment including back leg amputations due to health issues (2006)
Was given a special mobile cart and later adopted by a family (2007)

She was discovered suffering from various health issues including pneumonia, a broken leg and paralysis.
She also suffered abuse and neglect before being abandoned.
One adoptive family was negligent towards her.
During a return admission to the rescue shelter, her paralysis was debilitating enough to require rear leg amputations.

She was rescued by a Taiwanese animal welfare organization twice and survived her injuries and abuse.
She functioned at a high level after surgeries and rehabilitation which included a mobility cart.
She was adopted by a loving family.
She was the subject of a popular video which featured the Gloria Gaynor hit song 'I Will Survive.'
