Their only hit 'Tainted Love' ends with much of Diana Ross & The Supremes' 'Where Did Our Love Go?' (1981).
Almond and Ball bolted from the group, when it could not produce another hit (1984).
Almond flopped with silly band names like 'Marc & the Mambas' and 'Marc Almond & the Willing Sinners.'
Marc Almond's solo career was uneventful.
David Ball was not heard of again.
They regrouped in the '90s with little interest.
