Why he might be annoying:

He dropped out of college to form a theater group: ‘We specialized in unpopular plays by famous playwrights – and failed miserably.’
He affects an Indian/Pakistani accent in most of his roles, but for his normal speaking voice, he has a posh British accent.
He said, ‘I just have to accept the fact that my face is apparently not going to be seen as the guy next door unless he’s an Indian guy next door.’

Why he might not be annoying:

He joined Second City and trained with John Candy.
He improvised the famed finger wag that he gave while telling Jerry Seinfeld, ‘You are a very bad man.’
He said about typecasting, ‘I didn’t have the luxury of saying, ‘No, I won’t take that role.’… My job was to raise my kids, not worry about my ego.’
