In college, she was on the championship basketball, volleyball and field hockey teams.
She made sure that female coaches were paid the same as men.
She said: 'I'm in the business because no kid should be told they can't pursue their dreams.'
She was selected #84 by Sports Illustrated for Women's Century's Greatest Sportswomen.
