U.S. Congressman

The Resume

    (August 18, 1953- )
    Born in Pittsberg, Texas
    Republican Congressman of Texas (2005-)

Why he might be annoying:

During Barack Obama's speech on health care, he held up signs reading ‘What Bill?’
He promoted the idea of ‘terror babies’ being born in the U.S. as citizens, being trained overseas to hate America, and then killing people when they get older and are able to legally enter the country.
He had a complete meltdown when interviewed about the terror baby conspiracy and couldn’t provide any evidence.
When the Centers for Disease Control claimed Americans were not eating enough fruits and vegetables, he claimed the government was forcing people to eat fruits and vegetables.
In 2003, Tom DeLay engineered a mid-decade redistricting in the Texas legislature, increasing the number of Republicans in Congress, including Gohmert’s district.

Why he might not be annoying:

He served in the U.S. Army.
He is not afraid to speak his mind.
He didn't make as big of a scene at Obama's health care address as Congressman Joe Wilson.
