A lot of terrible things have been done in his name (but not necessarily done as he would do personally).
Many people (atheists and other non-Christians) believe he stirred up a false religion.
When the monks designed the current calendar system with Jesus' year of birth being 1 A.D., they screwed up with assigning Jesus' year of birth. Jesus was actually born around 4 B.C.
Many want to know: 'What Would Jesus Do?'
Why he might not be annoying
Christians believe that he was God's son, given in sacrifice to save humanity from eternal damnation.
He died a horrible death on the cross.
He encouraged charity and kindness in his followers.
He was friendly with people who were considered filthy and socially inferior by the standards of his time.
Christians following his example have done many good works in his name.
