Why they might be annoying
They had three hits between 1981-83 and then disappeared of the hitsville radar.
When their record company dropped them in 1985 they disbanded.
Marv and Rindy reformed the band in 1990 with session musicians and released an album in 1991 to collective yawns.
They recorded one more album in 1995, never released it and called it quits once again.
Why they might not be annoying
They were a big hit in Portland and landed a one hour local TV Special - 'Quarterflash In Concert' in 1981 before hitting it big.
'Harden My Heart' got attention from MTV and reached #3 on Billboard's Singles chart.
Their freshman album 'Quarterflash' hit #8 on the album chart, went platinum and sold over 2 million copies.
They sang the theme song for the 1982 Ron Howard film 'Night Shift' and contributed to the teen comedy 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High.'
Rindy Ross has become a children's counselor in Vancouver, WA, but often sings on side projects.
