You know, in this business you just get little things that give you a skip in your step for maybe two days. Know what I mean? It could be anything—it could be a laugh. Like you just laughed there. For a comedian, that could get me out of bed for three straight days... And then when you hear you’re less annoying than the Dalai Lama, that’s a solid week of getting out of bed. The problem is, those are the good things. If you bomb once, you’re depressed for four months. So that’s the psyche of a comic; it sucks. But news like I’m less annoying than the Dalai Lama—forget it. I’ll be skipping around like a goddamned fruit.'
