Why Sock Puppet might be annoying
He did all those stupid pets.com commercials.
His primary function was to annoy the person driving pet food to hungry pets.
His brand, Pets.com, sued Triumph the insult dog and Robert Smigel for $20,000,000.
Why Sock Puppet might not be annoying
Pets.com claims the suit concerning Triumph was actually initiated by Robert Smigel, who sent them a legal letter saying their puppet was a rip off of his.
They felt the need to legally challenge him, because the clean cut, obnoxious puppet was nothing like the foul mouth, sex obsessed Triumph.
He is history.
He was resurrected as spokespuppet for Bar None financial services (2002).
