The Resume

    (circa 1973- )
    Graphic designer
    Resident of Richmond, Virginia
    Former Republican
Created a parody of the Presidential Seal after the election of Donald Trump
    Changes:
Bald eagle replaced by two-headed eagle similar to the one on the Russian coat of arms
Instead of holding arrows in one claw and an olive branch in the other, the eagle holds golf clubs in one claw and a wad of cash in the other
Hammers and sickles replaced stars on the shield
Motto 'E pluribus unum' replaced by '45 es un titere' ('45 is a puppet' in Spanish)
Fake seal gained widespread attention when it appeared behind Trump as he addressed the Teen Student Action Summit hosted by Turning Point USA (July 23, 2019)

Why he might be annoying:

He set up a website to sell merchandise with the fake seal, but let it lapse in 2017.
He said he had forgotten about the fake seal until he scrolled through Reddit and saw a picture of Trump in front of it.
He said, 'This is the most petty piece of art I have ever created.'

Why he might not be annoying:

After Trump appeared in front of the fake seal, demand for merchandise with it was so heavy he had to work with a fulfillment center.
He pledged 10% of sales to the ACLU.
He received a lot of abuse via Facebook. ('It's apparently a personal affront to some people.')
He noted that whoever selected the background image for Trump was 'either wildly incompetent or the best troll ever.'
