Why she might be annoying
She was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of her lover, world professional skiing champ Spider Sabitch (March 21, 1976).
She lived with Sabitch although still married to singer Andy Williams.
She and Sabitch were caught arguing in public many times and he gave her until March 1, 1976 to move out of his Aspen home.
They were still together on March 21st when she reported that Sabitch was showing her how to use his .22 caliber gun. Her finger accidentally slipped to the trigger, the gun discharged and killed him (many do not believe her story).
She was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and was imprisoned for ninety days.
She smokes.
Her pop music was poorly received in that she sang barely above a whisper with a thick French accent.
Her husband Andy Williams is 13 years older than her.
Why she might not be annoying
Despite being separated from Andy Williams in 1970, she appeared regularly on his family Christmas show until their divorce in 1976 (... and you thought Sonny and Cher were unique).
Even after their divorce, Andy Williams stood by her side and they remained friends.
She was the lead dancer in the Folies Bergère in Las Vegas, when she was just nineteen.
She is an excellent skier.
