Why he might be annoying
He had a similar name with 50's teen idol Ricky Nelson.
He always wore a baseball cap, because he was balding.

He has not aged very well.
He performs the themes for ‘That 70's Show' and ‘The Colbert Report.'
At one point, Cheap Trick allowed Epic Records to take creative control over their music, which meant Epic would hire songwriters to write their songs instead of Rick.
