Why Who Wants to Be a Superhero? might be annoying:

Gee, wonder where the title came from?
It bills itself as ‘a show with heart.’
Right down to the crest and initial, Major Victory’s red outfit looked bizarrely like Superman’s blue one.
Like other competitive reality shows (especially The Apprentice, there are often blatant product placements and challenges that have very little to do with the point of the entire program.
The competitors rarely fail to demonstrate real-life flaws (greed, fear, lawbreaking, tears, gossip and more).

Why Who Wants to Be a Superhero? might not be annoying:

For the most part, the ‘superheroes’ are the contestants’ own creations.
Contestants are not denied on account of race, religion, or size; for example, Fat Momma is overweight and Mr Mitzvah competed in his 50s.
Lee asked the eliminated Iron Enforcer if he wanted to return as a supervillain; the Dark Enforcer was born.
If they advance deep enough into the contest, Lee will talk one-on-one with the remaining contestants — as themselves, not their creations.
First-season winner Feedback interviewed the second-season castoffs.
