Former Stone Roses members accuse his drug addictions of destroying the band in 1996 and ruining any plans for the band's reunion.
In 1998, he was sentenced to 4 months in jail for air rage, after threatening a pilot and stewardess on a flight.
He was fond of marijuana and psychedelic drugs.
In 2005, he was arrested for assault during a San Francisco gig.

He fronted one of the most influential bands of the 80's, the Stone Roses.
He appeared in a cameo role in the movie adaptation of 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.'
In his solo career, he has worked with many notable musicians including UNKLE and Oasis' 'Noel Gallagher.'
