Why he might be annoying:

He started as child acting extra in Little Rascals.
He said he didn't create characters, he just drew pictures that took on a life of their own.
He signed a long term contract with Warner Bros. saying: 'At 85 you can only think ahead for the next 50 years or so.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He created over 300 animations. His art is on display at more than 250 galleries and museums.
He animated Dr. Seuss' 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' (1964).
His autobiography, 'Chuck Amuck,' is in its fifth printing (1989).
His short 'What's Opera, Doc?' entered the National Film Registry as being 'among the most culturally, historically and aesthetically significant films of our time' (1992).
He won three Oscars for animation director.
He won an honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement (1996).
He established the Chuck Jones Foundation, to award scholarships (2000).
