Object of the game:
18 players are divided into two teams.
Each episode they are assigned the same task.
Each team chooses a project manager (team leader) who leads the team.
The team that earns the most money for the task wins.
The winning team gets a reward.
The winning project manager is exempt from being fired during the next task.
The project manager (team leader) of the losing team selects two or three other members of the losing team to meet with Donald Trump, Carolyn Kepcher and George Ross.
Each pleads why they should continue on but Donald Trump eventually eliminates one of them

Why Apprentice 2 might be annoying
Donald Trump seems perplexed why a project manager would only choose two instead of three members to face elimination and thus cutting the odds, he loses the strategy. The first two people chosen are the ones the project manager would feel most strongly about so the third person would not only be the least worthy of getting hired but would also tend to give strong reasons why the project manager should be fired.
'Apprentice 2' had a lot more product placements and branding than 'The Apprentice.'
Donald Trump had fired Brad and Stacie for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with their performance of the tasks.
Carolyn Kepcher and George Ross are more opinionated, but no matter how they feel after Donald Trump decides, they always agree with him.
An off shore betting company noticed a trend that the two people who get a great deal of money have greater chances of becoming the two finalists.
The men's team randomly chooses their project manager, not a real decisive way.
The men's team chose Mosaic, which Raj found effeminate, and when Donald Trump heard it felt it was a bad name.
Last years winner Bill Rancic acted as a consultant on an episode. He came off rather obnoxious, scolding the applicants.
Bill Rancic said this is not a game? (Of course it is).
Why Apprentice 2 might not be annoying
Because of the success of 'The Apprentice,' they are able to attract more celebrities.
Kelly Ripa said that the show makes New York City really look great.
They added a Saturday repeat, which removes about 15 minutes of the tasks and rewards footage, and adds 15 new minutes boardroom footage.
