Why she might be annoying
In every kitchen gadget infomercial she appears in, she promises the appliance will transform the way you prepare, cook and serve food.
In those same infomercials, she is credited as a Food Expert when the titles ‘seller' and ‘pusher' would be more appropriate.
She resembles Ethel Merman.
Like many infomercial hosts, she acts as if she is on speed.
With her Gemagic (a kit similar to the Bedazzler), she pimped up a girl's bedroom, purses and pairs of jeans.
Why she might not be annoying
She affectionately tells stories about her children or grandchildren while she cooks.
Viewers can find the products she pulls in mainstream stores like Target and Walgreens for a lot less money, minus shipping and handling.
She adds a campy-but-entertaining quality to the infomercials she hosts.
With her Snack Master, she made apple pies with canned apple pie filling and two slices of bread.
