Why he might be annoying
    He makes long, winded political speeches during his concerts.
    He sung a song in concert that infuriated cops about the Diallo shooting in the Bronx (41 Shots).
    He tries to come off as one of the common people.
    He sued manager, Mike Appel, saying he squandered too much money.
    He left his wife, Julianne Phillips, to hook-up with his background singer, Patty Scialfa.
    In England, he sued bootleggers who tried to produce a bootleg of his music entitled, 'Unearthed.'
    He sued the companies that want to release his early music on CD, entitled 'Before the Fame.'
    He has lots of recorded music that for some reason he refuses to release.
    He will record an entire album and then just scrap it.
Why he might not be annoying
    He really works at his concerts and gives his audience their money's worth.
    He performed on the collaborative benefit song 'We Are the World.'
    Despite being on the covers of Time and Newsweek magazine in 1976, he was broke.
    He reserves seats in the front row and rewards some of his fans in the cheap seats with them.
