    In his junior year at USC, he led the nation in rushing with 1,875 yards (1975).
    He was nicknamed 'the work horse' for his dedication and intensity in practice.
    He played a key role in leading Tampa Bay to its first post-season appearance and first playoff game win (1979).
    He was forced to leave football when dermatomyositis left him unable to even lift his three year old daughter.
