Why he might be annoying:

His middle name was 'Leslie.'
Unlike his famous father, he was uncomfortable in front of the camera.
Most of his films were low budget, European, productions capitalizing on his good looks.
He had huge eye brows.

Why he might not be annoying:

His parents divorced the year after his birth and then waged custody battle that last many years.
Upon leaving acting, he turned to photojournalism.
He disappeared in 1970 covering the combat in Cambodia.
It's presumed he was captured and murdered by Khmer Rouge, Viet Cong or North Vietnamese forces.
His mother spent the rest of her life searching for his whereabouts despite him being declared legally dead in 1984.
He was immortalized in The Clash song on the band's 1981 'Combat Rock' album.
