Why he might not be annoying
His madness was probably caused by porphyria, a hereditary blood disease.
His story was made into a movie, 'The Madness of King George.'
When a woman tried to kill him, he asked that her life be spared.
He founded the Royal Academy of Arts.
He collected books.
He was called 'Farmer George' for his interest in agriculture.
