Why he might be annoying:

At a collegiate and professional level, his teams were constantly involved in some sort of scandal.
He was often accused of letting the inmates run the asylum.
He was arrested in 1997 when he tried to get through airport security with a gun in his carry-on luggage.
In 1989, he resigned from OU under intense scrutiny.
While an assistant at Arkansas, he coached his future nemesis Jimmy Johnson and future boss, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
At his first Cowboys press conference, he yelled, 'I'm here to do a job, and we're gonna do it, baby!'

Why he might not be annoying:

He had a .634 winning percentage as the Dallas Cowboys head coach.
He didn't try to re-invent the wheel when he took over the Cowboys.
Players have said in retrospect, they may have won the third Super Bowl because Jimmy Johnson was beating them up and Switzer kept them healthy.
He coined the term 'triplets' for Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman.
He finished with a career record of 157-29-4 at OU.
He was 5-3 against Jimmy Johnson.
He said, 'Some people are born on third base and go through life thinking they hit a triple.'
His father was a convicted felon.
He was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
