Won the right to allow Terri Schiavo to die in dignity

Many of Terri's friends claim that he was verbally abusive and controlling prior to Terri's collapse.
His petition to have her life support removed caused an on going and very public feud between him and Terri Schiavo's family.
He dated and fathered a child with another woman, while still legally married to Terri Schiavo.
He became active in seeking Terri's right to die after he won a malpractice suit against her doctor. The money was being spent totally on Terri Schiavo's care
He forced Terri's siblings to exit the room during a visit they were having with her just ten to fifteen minutes before her death.
He barred Terri's parents from entering the room to visit with her during her last days alive.
He refused Terri Schiavo's parents the right to bury her in an area where they could visit her.
He had her cremated and scattered her ashes in Terri's hometown.

His decision was both legally right and medically correct.
He had Terri cremated to preserve her dignity knowing her grave site would have attracted religious nuts.
He barred Terri's parents and sibling because they turned the situation into a media circus.
He truly cared about Terri Schiavo's wishes.
An autopsy proved that Terri was brain dead and had zero chance of a normal life.
Despite the amount of criticism he was receiving, he continued to stand up for his belief that Terri Schiavo wished to die.
He has received many death threats for allowing his wife to die by dehydration.
He denounced the Schindler's (Terri's parents) use of the media and politicians in what should have remained a private family matter.
Many have judged him without knowing the whole story.
He is disliked by religious zealots who just have to tell others how to do things.
