Acted in ‘Z Cars' (1967-1968) and ‘Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' (1991)

He had bad teeth.
He starred in the scary Krofft puppet show ‘H.R. Pufnstuf.'
He became an alcoholic at a young age.
His substance abuse destroyed his health.
He didn't age well.

He was discovered while playing soccer in a park.
He was nominated for an Academy Award at 16 for ‘Oliver!'
He died of mouth cancer.
He eventually had to have part of his tongue cut out, and lost his ability to speak.
At the end of his life, he warned others about the dangers of tobacco and alcohol.
There is a rumor that he was Al Jourgenson of Ministry, but it is untrue.
Morrissey reportedly wrote a song about him.
Some people have fond memories of ‘H.R. Pufnstuf.'
