The Resume

    (February 1, 2004-January 1, 2006)
    Born in Bristol, Connecticut
    Aired on ESPN
    Hosted by Stuart Scott
Premise for seasons 1 and 2: A reality show to search for the next Sportscenter anchor
Premise for season 3: A search to find ESPN's next NBA analyst

Why Dream Job might be annoying:

A contest to find an anchor is not very entertaining.
The show never gave the jobs that it promised to its winners.
Mike Hall, the first winner of the show, got to anchor Sportscenter once, and then was bumped to seldom-seen network ESPNU.
Season 2 winner, Dave Holmes, never even got to anchor Sportscenter.
The first two winners both quit ESPN shortly after getting shafted.
After season one, the salary the winner received was lowered.
ESPN realized the Sportscenter anchors weren't going to be used, so the concept of the show for the final season was changed.

Why Dream Job might not be annoying:

The winner got a free car in addition to the salary.
Most of the contestants were college students seeking their first real job.
The judges on the show were ESPN's Stephen A. Smith and Tony Kornheiser.
