Outlaw

The Resume

    (circa 1995- )
    Resident of Medina, Ohio
Appeared in Newport, Kentucky (April 3, 2019)
Claimed to have escaped from kidnappers in Ohio
    Identified himself as Timmothy Pitzen
Pitzen has been missing since May 11, 2011, when his mother Amy picked him up from school
Amy committed suicide in a hotel room three days later, leaving a note claiming that Timmothy was safe and with people who would care for him, but ‘You will never find him’
Pitzen was six years old when he disappeared
DNA testing proved Rini was not Pitzen
Charged with making false statements to federal authorities (April 5, 2019)

Why he might be annoying:

He has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome and bipolar disorder.
Earlier, he twice falsely claimed to have been a victim of sex trafficking.
He was convicted of passing bad checks (2015).
He was convicted of trespassing and vandalism for holding a party and causing $1,250 in damages in an unoccupied house that was for sale (2017).
He had been out of jail for that conviction for less than a month when he pretended to be Timmothy Pitzen.
He was a 23-year-old trying to pass for fourteen.
His brother Jonathan said that despite his mental problems, ‘He should have the rational thinking not to do something like this.’
He raised the Pitzen family’s hopes, then dashed them.
Pitzen’s aunt, Kara Jacobs, said, ‘It’s like reliving that day all over again. Timmothy’s father is devastated again.’

Why he might not be annoying:

According to his Twitter bio, ‘I love animals plus I’m very good with computers.’
He told authorities that he wished he had Pitzen’s father, claiming that if he went missing, his father ‘would just keep drinking.’
Authorities expressed hope that the publicity might result in new tips that could lead them to finding Timmothy.
