Why she might be annoying:

    She is a one hit wonder three times over.
    Some fans of her soulful voice who had not seen her assumed she was black.
    To further cloud this issue, she often performed with Sweet Dreams in blackface, and billed herself as 'Sara Leone' - a reference to the African nation of Sierra Leone.
    In 1976, she competed in the Eurovision Song Contest twice (as a soloist and member of Sweet Dreams), losing both to the UK's contest winner Botherhood of Man.
    After the '70s, she disappeared off the charted songs map.

Why she might not be annoying:

    Songwriter/producer Gerry Shury described her voice as a cross 'between Diana Ross and Dionne Warwick.
    With 'That Same Old Feeling,' she reached #5 on the UK's Singles chart in 1970.
    With 'Honey Honey' she reached #10 in 1974 on England's Singles chart.
    While 'Up in a Puff of Smoke' didn't fair well in her native country, it reached #16 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart (and #3 on the disco chart).
    In 2006, she was falsely reported dead when a member of the New Pickettywitch, who had worked the club circuit, had passed away.
