Why he might not be annoying
He worked at his uncle's crab boating business as a child.
He was a member of Canada's Gold Medal winning World Junior championship teams (2006, 2007).
Upon turning pro, he donated money to underprivileged families to allow their children to play organized hockey.
He was viewed as a hockey icon in his home province of New Brunswick.
Prior to his death, he was considered to be the future face of the Canucks blueline.
