Birth name was Mercy Lavinia Warren Bump
Height was 2 feet 8 inches
Married fellow dwarfs General Tom Thumb (1863-83) and Count Primo Magri (1885-1919)
Appeared with Magri in the film ‘The Lilliputians Courtship’ (1915)

Why she might be annoying:

P.T. Barnum sold tickets to her and Thumb’s wedding reception for $50.
She and Thumb stood on a grand piano to greet attendees at the reception.
She thought Abraham Lincoln was rude when he kissed her on the cheek during a visit to the White House.
To support her extravagant tastes, she had to keep performing into old age.
She is buried next to Tom Thumb under a marker that reads simply ‘His Wife.’

Why she might not be annoying:

Ironically, she was a larger than average newborn, weighing nine pounds.
She became a teacher at age 16.
Her wedding to Tom Thumb was a front-page story in The New York Times.
She and Thumb went on a three year long world tour (1869-72), during which they appeared before most of the crowned heads of Europe.
