    His wife, Sharon, got him off drugs and runs his life.
    He suffers from depression.
    During a concert, he bit off the head of a live dove (1980).
    He is a vegetarian.
    He was into devil worship.
    He has many tattoos.
    He is known as the madman of heavy metal.
    As a teenager, he was arrested several times for robbery.
    While in prison, he self mutilated hand by needling the name OZZY on the knuckles.
    He was an out of control drink and drug abuser.
    He catapulted butchered meat scraps (stomachs and intestines) at his audience (1981).
    He bit the head off of an unconscious bat that a fan threw on stage, because he thought it was plastic. (He later went to the hospital for rabies shots)
    He dressed as a woman and urinated on a wall of the Alamo, then got arrested. (1982)
    He encourage fans to tear up stadium seats at his concert, then paid $80,000 for the damage (1986).
    His fan, John McCollum, committed suicide after listening to his song 'Suicide Solution' (1984).
    After downing four bottles of vodka, he choked his wife, saying 'we've decided that you've got to go.' She hit the house alarm panic button and the police took him away (1989).
    He once shot all of his 17 cats.
    He remastered his first two solo albums removing the original bass and drumming to avoid paying royalties.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His children are growing up normal (so far).
    When his guitarist Randy Rhoads' plane crashed into a house, the building caught fire. He rushed into the burning building to try and save his guitarist Randy Rhoads (Randy died in the ambulance). However, he was able to save a deaf male occupant.
    He resolved with Texas by donating $10,000 to the upkeep of the Alamo (1992).
    The parents of the suicidal fan sued Ozzy, but after all appeals Ozzy was found not guilty by the US Supreme Court due to the first amendment (1991).
