Why he might be annoying
He was a college star who disappointed at the professional level.
He, along with teammate Laveranues Coles, was involved in a shoplifting scandal when it was revealed he went to Dillard's and took over $400 in clothes, with the clothes being purchased for $22 after the clothes were under-rang by a friend who worked at the store (1999).
The scandal killed any chance of him winning the Heisman Trophy as a result.
He was described as being lazy by football pundits.
Following his release from the Seahawks, he failed to catch on with another team in the NFL, CFL and Arena Football Leagues.
Why he might not be annoying
He was a clutch performer at Florida State.
He earned Sugar Bowl MVP honors (2000).
He was able to perform at a high level during the Dillard's scandal.
He was the first player to score 20+ points while playing at the Louisiana Superdome.
Some pundits feel his disappointing NFL career was a result of playing for a dysfunctional franchise.
