Why he might be annoying
He is divorced with three children.
He was a coaching nomad in the college ranks.
He was a replacement player during the 1987 NFL players strike.
He was accused of attacking one of his coaches during training camp (2009).
During his stint as the University of Idaho's head coach, his team produced a record of 11–35 during his four seasons at the helm.
Why he might not be annoying
He was an offensive lineman at the University of Idaho.
He got his first NFL coaching gig under Jim L. Mora in Atlanta.
He became the Raiders interim head coach following the firing of Lane Kiffin.
Despite posting a 4-8 record, he was named the Raiders head coach on a permanent basis.
He has enough balls to put up with Al Davis as a boss.
