They went 2-10 without Michael Vick in 2003, causing Dan Reeves to lose his job.
Why they might not be annoying
They got there name from school teacher Julia Elliott, who won a contest to name the team. She suggested that the team be called the Falcons because 'The falcon is proud and dignified, with courage and fight. It is deadly and has a great sporting tradition.'
They had a record of 14-2 in 1998.
They drafted Michael Vick with the first overall pick in 2001.
They upset the Green Bay Packers in Lambeau Field during the 2003 playoffs.
