Why he might be annoying
He was originally in an indie rock band called, 'Juniper,' but when they wanted record a full length album, their contract prevented them from doing it, so they all split.
His parents were big hippy types.
He spent so much time on song writing that he would get in trouble for not doing school assignments.
He is a chain-smoker.
Why he might not be annoying
He has been compared to David Gray, Thom Yorke and Jeff Buckley.
When he was a child, his hobbies were painting, playing guitar and writing songs and he said he found a lot of peace doing it.
He opened for artists including Coldplay and Counting Crows.
Some of the awards he won include, 'Best Irish Act of 2002,' 'Number 1 Irish Album of 2002' 'Best Live Act' and 'Most Outstanding Male Artist.'
His video, 'Volcano' was in high rotation on VH-1 and was also a hit on MTV2.
After he left 'Juniper,' he traveled Europe with no map, played guitar for money and was offered shelter from strangers who like his music.
He was on 'Rolling Stone's Next Wave: 10 Artists To Watch' and VH-1's 'Inside Track.'
