The Resume

    (December 22, 1942-July 20, 2013)
Acted in 'Scratch the Surface (1997)'
Founder of John Casablancas Modelling Center and Elite Models

Why he might be annoying:

He is known for his high-partying lifestyle and his affinity for young women.
He used his position to date Stephanie Seymour when she was just fifteen, which began her lifestyle thick with drinking and drug abuse.
He married a seventeen-year old model (Aline Wermelinger) when he was fifty.
It is rumored that Gisèle Bündchen was mortified by his claims 'she is a greedy, monstrous, sex-crazed pothead who had slept her way to the top of the fashion world' and causing concern that boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio would dump her after learning what was said.
Now that he has retired from his Elite modeling position, he is revealing all in a new novel based on the modeling agency and refers to it as 'comic.'
In his tell-all novel, the characters will be disguised so as to avoid lawsuits and his hopes to continue receiving greetings on the street.
He was berated in the media after an undercover BBC report into his modeling business found two of his chief (European) executives guilty of exploiting young models.
Starry-eyed girls have been scammed by a few modeling companies posing as his and using his worldly known name.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was born in New York where he currently resides.
He attended high school and college in Switzerland and Spain.
He recently and openly called Naomi Campbell 'odious.'
His company represented some of the world's best supermodels and actors, such as Iman, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields, Cameron Diaz, Eric Roberts and Lara Flynn Boyle.
He says it should be fun for people to guess who the people in his book really are, portrayed by his supposed fictional characters.
He has a $15 million breach of contract suit against Gisèle Bündchen, her booker and IMG, in which she received the subpoena during a Ralph Lauren show.
His company had a DISHES project auction that benefited victims of pediatric AIDS.
His book has been described as 'sure to be a promising read.'
He and Jeanette Christjansen had a son, Julian Casablancas, who is vocals for The Strokes.
His son quit the modeling agency as an intern, saying 'he was quitting a job he detested.'
