Why they might be annoying
They've been constantly called a Radiohead-rip off.
While most of their friends were taking classes at college, they were doing crappy, low-paying jobs (until obviously, they were signed to a label).
Why they might not be annoying
Matt said: 'I don't think many bands feel that strongly about their music. It's sad but I think Nirvana were the last band who had that. Music should be an outlet for your emotions. If it wasn't for Muse, I think I'd probably be a nasty violent person. It's definitely a release, and that's the way it should be.'
Radiohead's 'The Bends' and Nirvana's 'Nevermind' were influential albums to them.
They formed the band when they were only thirteen years old, starting with the names, 'Gothic Plague,' 'Fixed Penalty' and 'Rocket Baby Dolls,' before finally settling on Muse.
When they were known as 'Gothic Plague,' they performed 90's indie rock covers.
They're not at all over exposed in the media and they are extremely underrated.
Their music and videos are available on their website.
