Why he might be annoying
He accidentally bumped Dale Earnhardt at Daytona, which led to his eventual death.
His name is Sterling, his father's name was Coo Coo, and he named his kids Steadman and Sutherlin.
He has had little success since his 2002 championship run.
During a race in Kansas, his pit crew forgot to grease the rear end of the car, causing the rear end to blow up.
He called his competitor Greg Biffle 'a bug eyed dummy.'
Why he might not be annoying
Before getting into racing, he was a standout football and basketball player in high school.
He started working on cars when he was 12 years old.
He is one of just a few drivers to win back-to-back Daytona 500s.
He began racing in NASCAR, when his dad broke his arm, and was unable to continue racing.
