Why he might be annoying
He talks trash leading up to games - even Super Bowl XL.
Even after the Steelers upset the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Divisional round in 2006, he publicly criticized NFL officials.
During pregame warmups for a game versus the Cleveland Browns, he punched and spit at Browns running back William Green, leading to his ejection before the game; Porter later denied spitting at Green.
Why he might not be annoying
He survived being shot in his left buttock outside a bar (August 31, 2003) in Denver, Colorado.
He led all NFL linebackers in sacks in 2005 with 10.5, which tied his career high.
He is not afraid to speak his mind.
