Why he might be annoying:

    He risked his life for attention.
    He was featured on 'Ripley's Believe It or Not.'
    He used a souped-up pickle barrel and nuclear devices packing.
    He spent over six thousand on a making a barrel.
    He is often the only one credited, although his partner Lori Martin took the plunge with him.
    They sustained minor injuries.
    A fine didn't stop him from repeated attempts.
    He spent over nineteen thousand dollars creating the barrel he and his girlfriend Lori Martin, plunged in.
    Their barrel became lodged in rocks as soon as it went over and Emergency Services had to risk their lives rescuing them.
    A crane later had to be used to remove their lodged barrel.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He partnered in the same barrel with Lori Martin.
    He and Lori Martin are one pair of two that partnered to descend the Falls.
    They were the second team to go over the Falls.
    At least he got to ride the Falls trapped in a barrel with his girlfriend.
    He was fined $500.00 on an early descending.
    He and his girlfriend were hospitalized, arrested and severely fined.
    He paid their fines and reimbursed the use of the crane.
