Why they might be annoying
Dennis Rodman began coloring his hair and acting strangely when he played for them.
Some say that their 1999 championship should be asterisked, since it came on the heel of a lockout-shortened season.
They were the only team from 1987 to 2004 to not repeat their title (they failed to repeat twice).
Their recent teams are not known for their flashiness.
They are inconsistent having bad seasons out of nowhere, including one that resulted in them getting the #1 pick (they drafted Tim Duncan).
Why they might not be annoying
George 'The Iceman' Gervin and David 'The Admiral' Robinson played for them.
They are considered one of the classiest organizations in the NBA.
ESPN called them the best franchise in any of the four major U.S. sports' leagues (2004).
They were the first former ABA team to win the NBA title.
They ended David Robinson's career with a championship.
Their championships can be credited to Robinson putting aside his ego, allowing Duncan to lead the team.
Their rivalry with the Lakers was perhaps the best NBA rivalry at the turn of the 21st century.
