Most of its teams play in stadiums that are not designed for soccer.
Its level of play is not equal to the top leagues in Europe.
Why they might not be annoying
They have very passionate fans.
Compared to other pro leagues, they have cheap ticket prices.
The Chicago Fire won the 1998 MLS Cup in their inaugural season.
It was credited for the improvement of the U.S. national team in the World Cup.
It is a much more stable league than the old North American Soccer League.
It has built soccer-specific stadiums that are more friendly to players and fans.
